QUEZON CITY, Philippines โ M.A. Woven Designs proudly joins ๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐โ ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ 2026, a three-day celebration of Filipino weaving traditions, Indigenous craftsmanship, and cultural artistry happening from May 15 to 17, 2026 at Quantum Skyview, Gateway Mall 2, Araneta City, Quezon City.
Bringing together weaving communities, cultural advocates, artisans, designers, and heritage-driven brands from different parts of the country, HIBLA serves as a platform that highlights the richness of Philippine handloom weaving traditions through exhibits, weaving demonstrations, handcrafted products, and cultural showcases.
Founded by Indigenous fashion advocate Maila Alog, M.A. Woven Designs continues its mission of promoting authentic Filipino Indigenous handwoven textiles through contemporary and wearable cultural fashion. The brandโs participation in HIBLA reflects its continuing advocacy of co-creating with Indigenous communities while encouraging wider appreciation for Filipino weaving traditions and heritage craftsmanship.
Alongside fellow weavers, artisans, and cultural brands, M.A. Woven Designs showcases selected Indigenous-inspired apparel and handcrafted pieces featuring authentic woven textiles interpreted through modern silhouettes that bridge tradition and contemporary fashion.
The event also highlights the importance of sustaining Philippine weaving traditions by creating spaces where visitors can directly engage with weaving communities and support local craftsmanship.
HIBLA: Weaversโ Fair 2026 is organized in partnership with cultural and heritage advocates supporting the preservation and promotion of Filipino textiles and weaving traditions. The fair features free admission and invites the public to discover the artistry, identity, and stories woven into every handcrafted piece.
