M.A. Woven Designs proudly unveiled CORDI-JERG, the brand's latest signature piece, during the final editorial photoshoot for the upcoming EDAFUAN Magazine. More than the introduction of a new garment, the launch marked another step in the brand's commitment to reimagining heritage textiles through contemporary fashion.
Inspired by the iconic Mexican jerga hoodie, CORDI-JERGA™ offers a fresh interpretation rooted in the artistry of the Cordillera. While honoring the relaxed and recognizable silhouette of the classic jerga, the design embraces the richness of Cordilleran handwoven textiles, creating a garment that bridges cultures while celebrating local craftsmanship.
Designed for both style and functionality, CORDI-JERGA™ features a full front zipper that provides versatility for everyday wear. Concealed slim elastic at the cuffs and waistband gives the garment a cleaner silhouette and a more structured fit, resulting in a modern finish without compromising comfort. The thoughtful tailoring allows the beauty of the handwoven textile to remain the focal point of the design.

The official release of CORDI-JERGA™ during the final EDAFUAN Magazine editorial shoot highlighted the garment as one of the newest expressions of M.A. Woven Designs' evolving design philosophy. Set against a creative editorial celebrating Philippine indigenous fashion, the piece reflected the brand's continuing pursuit of innovation while remaining deeply connected to the traditions of Cordilleran weaving.

As with every creation by M.A. Woven Designs, CORDI-JERGA™ carries a story beyond fashion. It is a celebration of cultural exchange, craftsmanship, and identity—demonstrating how traditional handwoven textiles can be transformed into contemporary pieces that resonate with today's generation while honoring the communities and artisans who continue to preserve these weaving traditions.
With CORDI-JERGA™, M.A. Woven Designs once again invites everyone to experience fashion that is not only modern and functional, but also proudly woven with culture.
