A Shared Year-End Moment: Maila Alog and the Christmas Holiday Fashion Show 2018

Updated: Dec 22, 2025

The Christmas Holiday Fashion Show 2018, held on December 20, 2018, was more than a festive closing of the year—it was a collective expression of collaboration within the local fashion community. Among the creatives who took part was Maila Alog, whose participation through Carolina’s Dress Shop reflected her early commitment to community-based fashion and mentorship.

Maila Alog dressed LIKHA MODELS in designs that favored elegance, movement, and confidence—allowing the models’ training and individuality to lead the runway. Her contribution was quiet yet purposeful, reinforcing the idea that fashion is as much about support and collaboration as it is about design.

She shared the stage with fellow creatives and fashion groups who also contributed to the richness of the evening, including Fashion Lab styled by AYA Styling Studio, King George Bueno, Julienne Paran, Intemeratha Modeling Agency, Jerome Bagni, and Ed Halili. Together, these designers and styling teams shaped a diverse and inclusive year-end showcase that celebrated both emerging and established talents.

In hindsight, the Christmas Holiday Fashion Show 2018 stands as a meaningful reminder that formative moments in fashion often happen within shared spaces. For Maila Alog, it was one of those moments—where design, community, and purpose quietly aligned, helping lay the groundwork for the path she continues to build today.
