MANILA, Philippines โ€” Indigenous fashion advocate and creative entrepreneur Maila Alog proudly joins the 2026 floral Filipiniana exhibit ๐…๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ ๐๐ž ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐š ๐ฒ ๐…๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐š๐ง๐š at the historic The Manila Hotel in collaboration with Designers Circle PH, celebrating Filipino artistry, heritage, elegance, and contemporary cultural fashion.

Mounted in honor of National Heritage Month and Flores de Mayo, the exhibit highlights graceful Filipiniana masterpieces, floral inspirations, delicate embellishments, and proudly Filipino craftsmanship through the works of some of the countryโ€™s respected and emerging designers.

Joining Maila Alog in the exhibit are fellow participating designers Edwin Uy, Rafael Gonzalez, Alfonso Emmanuel, Jasper Adorador, Precious Jewel, Rhael Garcia, Alistair Balane, Gus Villa, Adonis Ara Samson, Ganda Anore, Bepz Torres, Joy Aaliwin, Gian Abrigo, Jayme Yap Bravo, Medel Batingal, Will Salvador, Brad Shilver Agarano, Pencil Diestra, Jennica Castro, Laura Santos, and Johnny Abad under the Designers Circle PH platform.

Representing her continuing advocacy for Indigenous-centered fashion, Alog showcases selected works under M.A. Woven Designs featuring authentic Filipino Indigenous handwoven textiles interpreted through contemporary silhouettes and wearable cultural fashion. Her participation also reflects the continuing vision of Habing Katutubo Collective Inc. and Indigenous Fashion and Beyond (IFB), initiatives dedicated to promoting Indigenous and Ibaloy artistry on both national and international stages.

Known for championing co-creation with Indigenous communities, Alog continues to advocate for fashion that not only celebrates beauty and craftsmanship but also carries narratives of heritage, identity, and cultural continuity.

Beyond fashion presentation, the exhibit also serves as a platform for cultural appreciation and creative collaboration among Filipino designers and artists who continue elevating local artistry through modern interpretations of Filipiniana and heritage-inspired fashion.
