Baguio City — Ivy Fashion Ball II: Summer Gothic marked a bold evolution of the Ivy Fashion Ball series, introducing the first-ever Runway Competition staged in the city under the guiding theme “Creativity and Teamwork.” Held on April 10, 2021, at the Diamond Grand Ballroom, Hotel Supreme, Baguio City, the event transformed the traditional fashion ball into a collaborative, competition-driven platform where design, direction, styling, and performance converged.
Produced by Wilvy Shows Entertainment Production, Summer Gothic juxtaposed dark romance—lace, corsetry, layered tulles, metallic accents, and sculptural silhouettes—with the energy and confidence of youth-led fashion. The runway became a space for collective storytelling, emphasizing discipline and cohesion alongside individual creativity.
Runway Competition: Creativity and Teamwork
At the heart of the evening was a structured Runway Competition, with teams evaluated on concept development, design execution, runway direction, styling, hair and makeup, and model performance—mirroring real-world fashion production standards.
