M.A. Woven Designs Presents Andro Panagbenga Edition: A Genderless Expression in Contemporary Ibaloy Patterns

Within the vibrant staging of Habing Katutubo: Blooms & Looms – Panagbenga Edition on February 28, 2026 at Hotel Supreme, Baguio City, M.A. Woven Designs introduced Andro—a collection that moved beyond definitions, offering a space where fashion exists without boundaries.

As the looks unfolded on the runway, silhouettes resisted categorization. Garments flowed between structure and softness, worn not as masculine or feminine, but as personal expressions shaped by the wearer. The collection embraced genderless design, allowing each piece to adapt, transform, and belong to whoever chooses to wear it.

At its core were contemporary interpretations of Ibaloy patterns, reworked into modern forms that felt both rooted and progressive. These patterns carried cultural memory, yet were presented in ways that invited new meaning—no longer fixed, but evolving alongside identity.

There was a quiet strength in the presentation. Without the need for labels, the garments spoke through movement, texture, and presence. Each look created space—space for individuality, for fluidity, and for redefining what it means to wear culture today.

Set against the celebratory energy of Panagbenga, Andro reflected a different kind of bloom—one that embraces change, diversity, and the continuous unfolding of identity.

In that moment, the collection stood as more than fashion. It became a statement: that heritage is inclusive, that tradition can evolve, and that design, at its most powerful, allows everyone to belong.
